Fire Breaks Out in Yerevan City Warehouse

On August 8, at 22:06, the "911" service received a call reporting a fire in the warehouse of the "Yerevan City" supermarket located on Gayi Avenue in Yerevan.

A firefighting team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

Due to the complexity of the fire, six firefighting teams were sent with a second alarm level, along with the emergency response team from the National Crisis Management Center and a duty doctor from the Disaster Medicine Center.

The fire was extinguished by local forces. The insulating layer of the smoke duct caught fire, burning 2 square meters and 0.5 square meters of cable.
