Artsakh State Minister Grigori Martirosyan Visits One of the Separate Artillery Brigades of the Armed Forces
Artsakh Republic's State Minister Grigori Martirosyan, accompanied by the Ministers of Defense and Agriculture, today visited one of the separate artillery brigades of the Defense Army (PB), where for the first time a program to ensure soldiers' food supply has been implemented through public-private partnership.
Grigori Martirosyan monitored the implementation process and interacted with the servicemen, assessing the quality and variety of food around the table with them. After having lunch with the soldiers, the state minister stated, “I am impressed by the quality and taste characteristics of the food products. The system being implemented in the PB differs from the previous one in that the provision of food services is being delegated to private companies, and the professional approach undoubtedly has a positive impact on the quality of the services provided. We are also negotiating with companies providing services to the PB to include local production as much as possible in the menu in the forms of dairy and meat products. These companies are willing to make procurements of vegetables or other natural products produced in Artsakh.”
Grigori Martirosyan emphasized with satisfaction the conditions of the military cafeteria, the modern solutions implemented there, and the comfortable and conducive environment. The state minister also visited the production facility of the “A. Buts” company, which provides soldiers with durable and comfortable combat boots. The company has already sent the second batch of new boots to the PB. The production process was presented to G. Martirosyan, and the prospects for expanding production were discussed.
