Residents of Kyrgyzstan Drive Away Employees of Chinese Gold Mining Company with Stones
Residents of Kyrgyzstan claim that the company was unconcerned about environmental issues, with locals reporting multiple incidents of water and air pollution. In addition, the local populace is complaining that Chinese workers are being paid more than they are.
The Kyrgyz people physically assaulted the Chinese workers and removed Chinese machinery from the area.
