Body of Man Found in Norq Water Pipe in Yerevan

An extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan on August 8. According to Shamshyan.com, at approximately 18:40, the police received a report about a body located in the Norq water pipe near 26 Gogol Street.

The Emergency Situations Ministry's 15th fire and rescue squad arrived on the scene, as well as the operational group from the Yerevan city police department. Rescuers used a special cable to retrieve the body of a man aged between 65 and 70 from the water pipe.

Investigation officials from the Yerevan investigative department of the Armenian Investigative Committee, specifically the Kanaker-Zeytun investigatory division, are currently at the scene conducting their inquiry. The police and investigative division are working to establish the identity of the deceased citizen.
