Two Citizens Injured in Zodi Bridge Accident Still Hospitalized

Two citizens, Rouzanna Hakobyan and Gagik Ghukasian, who were injured in a tragic accident on the Yerevan-Eraskh road on July 6, continue to be hospitalized in moderate condition. This was reported by Gevorg Simonian, the director of the Republican Scientific Center of Radiology and Burns in Yerevan, in an interview with NEWS.am.

"They are still receiving treatment, and we cannot say yet when they will be discharged from the hospital," said the director. He also noted that Gagik has somewhat passed the psychological shock and his condition has considerably improved.

It is noteworthy that 37-year-old Rouzanna Hakobyan and 28-year-old Gagik Ghukasian are from the village of Surenavan. Earlier reports indicated that at 3:15 PM on July 6, the "911" emergency service received information about a road traffic accident on the Zodi Bridge in the Ararat region, involving three vehicles that required rescue services.

It was found that a "Toyota," "VAZ-2106," and "Gazelle" were involved in the collision on the Zodi Bridge. As a result of the incident, six people died on the spot, and 13 others were hospitalized. Four days after the accident, 20-year-old Tsaghik Hambardzumyan also died in the hospital.
