Friendship Circle with Artsakh Established in Australia
On August 1 in Sydney, a meeting was held between members of the Artsakh delegation and representatives of Armenian community organizations. During the meeting, Haik Kayseryan, the Executive Director of the Armenian National Committee of Australia, announced the establishment of a friendship circle with Artsakh in Australia.
According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh, the head of the delegation, Minister of Foreign Affairs Masis Mayilian, and parliamentary deputy David Ishkhanyan also addressed the attendees. The speakers presented the realities of Artsakh's foreign and domestic political life and answered numerous questions from those present.
"During the event, Haik Kayseryan announced the creation of a friendship circle with Artsakh in Australia. The Executive Director of the Armenian National Committee of Australia presented Minister Masis Mayilian with a special plaque listing the members of the friendship circle. The circle includes members of the Federal Parliament, senators, ministers, as well as the Premier of New South Wales, speakers of the upper and lower houses of the state parliament, scholars, representatives of the clergy, and cultural figures. Currently, the circle has around 40 members." Masis Mayilian expressed confidence that a similar friendship circle would be formed in Artsakh with Australia.
