After the Shameful Incident in Hurghada, the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition has Launched Checks on Tour Companies

"Jhamhoor" newspaper reports that the tour companies operating in Armenia have come under the scrutiny of the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition following the disgraceful incident where Armenian citizens were stranded at the airport in Egypt.

The commission informed the newspaper that they have started investigations into the tour companies. Notably, checks are also being conducted at the company "A&Ar Tours," which had put citizens in such an unfortunate situation.

It remains to be seen what violations and shortcomings the commission will uncover, but it is noteworthy that materials are being prepared at the Armenian Police's Main Directorate for the Fight Against Organized Crime regarding the activities of the Armenian tour operator "A&Ar Tours" that organizes trips to Hurghada.

Additionally, it should be mentioned that the government has allocated a total of 47.1 million drams to repatriate Armenian citizens stranded in Hurghada.
