Changes in Urban Transport
The operation of Yerevan's urban minibus route No. 48 will be suspended starting August 1, according to the official website of the Yerevan municipality.
“Dear fellow citizens, due to the service provider's refusal to continue operations, the work of Yerevan's urban minibus route No. 48 will be halted as of August 1,” the announcement states. The route has been operated by 'Grand Candy' LLC along the 15th district.
To partially ensure the transportation of citizens using this route, the following changes will be made: a) the route of minibus No. 42 will be extended from Arshakunyats Avenue to 'Grand Candy' LLC (the final stop of minibus route No. 48), and b) the route of minibus No. 52 will be partially modified. It will operate along the route of minibus No. 48 from the 15th district (G. Chavush Square) through Bashindzhaghyan, Margaryan, Halabyan, and Leningradyan streets up to Sebastia Street and then along the existing route.
Passengers who use minibus route No. 48 can also make use of other urban routes that operate parallel to this route. We apologize for the inconvenience caused and seek the understanding of our fellow citizens,” the announcement concludes.
