25 Thousand Dollar 'Ararat' Brandy Stolen in Artik

The Investigative Division of the Artik Police Department is preparing materials on the fact of personal property theft.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, on July 27, a 34-year-old resident of Yerevan, Haik K., filed a report with the Artik police, stating that between 1:00 PM on July 17 and 2:00 PM on July 27, an unidentified individual or individuals used technical tools to break the iron door of the basement adjacent to his property at 7 Grigor Lusavorich Street in Artik and stole 800 bottles of 0.5-liter 3-star 'Ararat' brandy.

According to G. Shamshyan's information, Haik K. informed the police that the theft caused him a material loss of 12 million drams (approximately 25 thousand dollars).
