High Fire Hazard Situation Expected: Ministry of Emergency Situations

Over the next 5 days, a high fire hazard situation is expected in valley and pre-mountainous areas. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

The Ministry also presented the weather forecast for the coming 5 days. It is noted that on July 26 during the day, and from July 27 to 29 in the afternoon, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in some northern areas. On July 30 and 31, dry weather is anticipated.

The wind will be south-west at 3-8 m/s, with possible intensification during thunderstorms of 15-20 m/s. The air temperature will decrease by 3-4 degrees during the day on July 26, and will rise by the same amount on July 30 and 31.

In Yerevan, on July 26 during the day, and from July 27 to 31, dry weather is expected. In the evening hours, an increase in wind strength of 18-20 m/s is anticipated.
