When will the Yerevan Circus open its doors to the audience? Chief Engineer

The chief engineer of the Yerevan Circus, Avag Hovhannisyan, stated in an interview with Tert.am that he cannot specify when the Yerevan Circus will open its doors to the audience. He only mentioned that the team is working as quickly as possible.

“Only the interior finishing works, the ventilation system, and plumbing are being completed,” said Hovhannisyan. He also noted that during this time, certain changes related to technological solutions have been made.

“There were changes related to overall design, acoustics, and technological solutions. We invited specialists from abroad who conducted calculations and proposed solutions that have already gone through the discussion and approval phase. After that, it's a matter of quickly presenting the sketch version and obtaining the related materials, which are likely to be imported from abroad. I cannot provide a clear timeline for the procurement of these materials,” Hovhannisyan added. “In addition, acoustic work is also being carried out in parallel. The interior finishing works will need to be conducted afterward. Therefore, we cannot say when the circus will open, but the work is being done very efficiently.”

Regarding the capacity of the Circus, Hovhannisyan explained that it was initially planned to accommodate 2,500 spectators, but due to ensuring the comfort of the seating, the number of places has been slightly reduced.
