Tailings Flowing into Debed River from Akhtala

Oleg Dulgarian, a member of the 'SOS Alaverdi' initiative, has raised concerns on his Facebook page about the pollution of the Debed River caused by the Akhtala stream, indicating that the stream is filled with tailings.

“This is systematic pollution, and are you threatening that you want to cut off the workers' bread? No, we want you to provide the workers with good working conditions, and in general, do not play with everyone’s health,” he wrote.
