Major Car Accident in Kotayk Province: Opel Crosses into Oncoming Lane, Collides with Lexus and Overturns, Casualties Reported

Today, on July 25, a major car accident occurred in Kotayk Province. At approximately 01:50, on the 17th kilometer of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, a collision took place between a Lexus vehicle driven by 21-year-old Artur Julhakyan from Yerevan, bearing the license plate 24 UL 444, and an Opel vehicle driven by 21-year-old Artak Baghdasaryan from Charentsavan, carrying the license plate 34 NS 388.

According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan reporting from the scene, as a result of the accident, a passenger in the Lexus, identified as 23-year-old L.M. from Yerevan, and a passenger in the Opel, 22-year-old V.K., sustained bodily injuries and were transported to the Abovyan Medical Center. Citizens were the first to provide assistance to the injured, followed by the prompt action of the hospital doctors.

The photographer noted that the driver of the Opel was responsible for the accident, as they had crossed into the oncoming lane, collided with the Lexus, and ended up overturned in the middle of the road.
