Azerbaijan’s Air Force MIG-29 Fighter Jet Crashes into the Caspian Sea

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense reported a possible crash of a military aircraft, as reported by ТАСС.

"On July 24, around 22:00, contact was suddenly lost with an Azerbaijan Air Force MIG-29 aircraft that was conducting a scheduled training flight at night. Preliminary assumptions indicate that the military aircraft has crashed into the sea," the official statement cited by the news outlet said.

Details regarding the causes of the incident have not been disclosed.
