VIDEO: Another 'Bololan'. Passenger Demands Driver to Hang Up Phone
A new video has surfaced online showing an incident between a driver and a passenger in a Yerevan minibus. Facebook user Lusine Shahbandaryan shared the video on her page, stating that the driver of bus number 44 was on the phone during several stops. “In response to my requests to turn off the phone (the initial part of which, unfortunately, is not included in the recording), he said, 'I’m fine talking, it’s for breaking the law, do whatever you want,' and, interestingly enough, he never identified himself.
In the dispatch office, the dispatcher told me, 'There is no such law that prohibits talking while driving' and also refused to tell me the name of the driver serving me... In one of the pictures, it was the driver of the bus; by the time I finished talking and returned to record, the second bus had already arrived at the stop. By the way, for the sake of fairness, I must say that it is a very well-functioning route in terms of schedule...
