Tragic Incident in Gegharkunik: 24-Year-Old Found Hanging on Roof

A 24-year-old man was found hanging on the roof of his house in the village of Madina, Gegharkunik province, yesterday, July 23. According to Sputnik Armenia, the young man was first spotted by his brother, who immediately informed their parents and called emergency services.

The young man was taken to the hospital; despite being unconscious, he showed signs of life. Approximately two hours after being hospitalized at the 'Martuni' medical center, he passed away without regaining consciousness.

Locals in the village are saying that the young man had returned from Russia about a month ago, where he had gone for seasonal work. Law enforcement agencies are investigating the details of the incident.
