Three Cars Collide on Mashtots Avenue, Injuries Reported

On July 23, at 14:24, a call was received by the 911 service in Armenia reporting a traffic accident on Mashtots Avenue in Yerevan, near the Ameria Bank. Two cars had collided, and there was a gas leak that required assistance.

A firefighting rescue team from the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the vehicles involved were an Opel Corsa (driver: N.G., born 1941), a BMW X6 (driver: V.A., born 1962), and a Mercedes C320 (driver: V.G.).

Rescuers provided assistance to the driver of the Opel Corsa and a passenger of the BMW X6, E.A. (born 1989), transferring them to an ambulance. They were hospitalized at the Heratsi University Hospital No. 1. E.A. received appropriate medical treatment and was discharged, while the health condition of N.G. was assessed by doctors as moderate.

The rescuers also disconnected the Opel Corsa’s battery and closed the valve of the gas cylinder.
