Accident Involving Armed Forces Unit Service Member: Injuries Reported

On July 23, an accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. Around 19:10, Haik G., a 28-year-old resident of Chambarak, lost control of his Volkswagen Golf, license plate 35 RC 919, on Gardmani Street in Chambarak and collided with a chain-link fence before ending up in a field. As a result of the accident, driver Haik G. and passenger Babken H., a 33-year-old fellow resident, sustained injuries and were taken to the Chambarak Medical Center. Officers from the 1st platoon of the 4th battalion of the 2nd police division arrived at the scene, led by platoon commander Vruyr Gabrielyan. Investigative work at the site was directed by investigator Petrosyan from the same battalion, who is preparing materials regarding the incident.
