A 30-Year-Old Serviceman of the Russian Border Troops Committed Suicide in Yerevan

According to Shamshyan.com, the investigator Galust Ghazaryan from the Arabkir investigative division of the Investigative Committee of Armenia is preparing materials regarding a suicide that took place in the Arabkir administrative district yesterday, July 23.

As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, at around 16:50, the Arabkir police department received a call that a man's body was hanging in one of the summer houses of the "Koreans' Gorge" bypass tunnel. An operational group from the Arabkir police department, led by the head of the department Armen Vatyan and deputy head Vahan Baghiayan, arrived at the scene. An investigative group led by investigator G. Ghazaryan was also working at the site.

Police and investigators have determined that the deceased is Arsen K., a 30-year-old resident of the summer house, who committed suicide by hanging. Upon the investigator's decision, several expert examinations were appointed, including a forensic examination of the body. According to G. Shamshyan, Arsen K. served in the Russian border troops stationed in Armenia.
