Court Extends Restraint Measure for Khachatryan Sisters

The Moscow City Court has extended the restraint measure for the three Khachatryan sisters until October 28, prohibiting certain actions. They are accused of their father's murder, as reported by the TASS news agency.

According to a court representative, "The Moscow City Court has extended the term of the prohibition on the actions of defendants Kristina and Angelina Khachatryan until October 28." Previously, a similar ruling was made regarding Maria Khachatryan, who was a minor at the time of the murder. All three sisters are prohibited from leaving their home without the investigator's permission.

The sisters face charges of murder committed with premeditation. The investigation states that their actions were provoked by the actions of the victim, Mikhail Khachatryan. The defense attorneys argue that the girls acted within the necessary self-defense framework due to their father's years of prolonged abuse.
