Azerbaijani Man Assaults Patrol Officer in Kyiv
An Azerbaijani citizen has assaulted a patrol officer in Kyiv. This has been reported by law enforcement authorities, as stated by the news agency UANN.
The incident began when the officer, who had finished his shift but was still in uniform, reprimanded the man for violating traffic rules while driving. The officer also blocked the man's vehicle with his own in an attempt to prevent further violations.
What escalated was all-out brawl, during which a relative of the man arrived at the scene, upset that the officer had obstructed their vehicle’s path. The relative, also an Azerbaijani citizen, struck the officer multiple times.
The officer was hospitalized with closed traumatic brain injury, while the two individuals involved in the conflict have been detained. An investigation is currently underway under the article related to threats or violence against law enforcement personnel.
