Public Transport Fare Change Not Under Discussion: Hakob Karapetyan

Hakob Karapetyan, press secretary of the Yerevan Municipality, made a post on his Facebook page stating that there is no discussion regarding any increase in public transport fares.

“During the past weekend, some media outlets and social media users reproduced a survey circulated from a fake Facebook page, aiming to create the impression that the city authorities are planning to raise the public transport fares. We inform you that the municipality is not discussing a change in public transport fares. We urge Yerevanians to rely on official information regarding the municipality's activities,” he wrote.
