The police have released a statement regarding the slaughter of stray dogs in Ejmiatsin, which particularly mentions: 'Recently, the Dingo Team animal protection NGO published information on one of the social networks indicating that unknown individuals carried out the slaughter of stray dogs in Ejmiatsin city a few days ago. We inform you that a representative from the Dingo Team organization submitted a complaint to the Vagharshapat division of the police regarding this incident. As a result of active cooperation between the division's officers and local self-government bodies, along with conducted explanatory work, on July 22, a 57-year-old man living in Ejmiatsin approached the Vagharshapat police department and stated that he had shot the dogs with his legal hunting rifle, claiming that the animals attempted to harm young children. An administrative proceeding has been initiated at the Vagharshapat police department regarding the incident.'
