Vahagn Harutyunyan Will Continue to Remain at Liberty: Decision
The Court of Appeal, presided over by Judge Narine Hovakimyan, has just announced its ruling regarding the detention measures concerning former head of the investigative group for the March 1 case, Vahagn Harutyunyan. Both the prosecution's and Harutyunyan's defense attorney Mihran Poghosyan's appeals were rejected. This was reported to SHANTNEWS.am by Arevik Khachatryan, head of the public relations department of the Republic of Armenia's Prosecutor General's Office.
Thus, the court has effectively upheld the decision of the First Instance Court, which had denied the request by the National Security Service to detain Harutyunyan.
