Fire in Apartment in Avan District Leaves Citizen Unconscious from Smoke

On July 19, at 11:01 a.m., the '911' emergency service received a call reporting that a citizen noticed smoke coming from an apartment at building 3/2 in the Isahakyan neighborhood of Yerevan's Avan administrative district.

Two firefighting units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that food had burned on the gas stove, which caused the citizen to lose consciousness.

The rescuers opened the apartment door and brought the victim to an ambulance. The citizen was hospitalized at the 'Saint Gregory the Illuminator' Medical Center.
