Today, a session of the Supreme Judicial Council will take place, where scientific council members Liparit Melikjanyan, Hayk Hovhannisyan, and Grigor Bekmezian have raised the issue of terminating Nakshun Tavaratsyan's powers.

The newspaper "Haykakan Zhamanak" reported that previously, Nakshun Tavaratsyan had contested this matter, stating: "If you are planning to put the 2018 application on the agenda of the Supreme Judicial Council on July 15 and discuss it nine months later, then you should have called me to the Supreme Judicial Council within a three-day period to discuss my application, and these issues would have been resolved, and this unfortunate situation would not have arisen."

Furthermore, according to information we have received, Nakshun Tavaratsyan announced: "If you have decided to discuss it now, then go ahead and discuss it, but I became a member of the Supreme Judicial Council on July 11 and I have taken an oath. I did not submit my resignation after taking the oath; it is interesting what application you want to discuss."

Anyway, according to reports received by "Haykakan Zhamanak," Nakshun Tavaratsyan's fate depends on the judges of the Supreme Judicial Council. If they vote against the initiative of the three scientific members, Tavaratsyan will continue his activities in the Supreme Judicial Council. It should be noted that the voting will be secret, and it will be clear how the judges of the Supreme Judicial Council will vote today.
