Direct Consultation of Law Enforcement Leaders in Ijevan: Here is the NSS Director

Representatives of law enforcement agencies are holding a consultation at the Tavush Regional Administration. NSS Director Arthur Vanetsyan has also arrived in Ijevan today.

It is worth noting that clashes occurred following a protest by wood processing workers in Ijevan, resulting in 12 police officers sustaining various injuries, as well as injuries to two civilians. The Chief of Police of Armenia announced today that 19 individuals have been detained, 13 of whom have been arrested, while six others have received a measure preventing them from leaving.

Additionally, two more civilians were detained today. Following the events in Ijevan, the police chief visited the city last night.
