Search Conducted in Judge's Office in the Case of Kocharian

A search has been conducted in the office of Judge Davit Grigoryan at the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction as part of a criminal case under investigation by the Special Investigative Service (SIS). This was reported to NEWS.am by SIS spokesperson Marina Ohanyan, who did not provide details regarding the specific criminal case.

The search took place yesterday, on July 16. Earlier, Politik.am had reported that, as a result of the search, the judge's computer was seized, after which the office was sealed. The SIS investigator informed the police to seal the room, justifying this action by stating that it is a crime scene. The nature of the alleged crime and details of the criminal case are still unclear.

Returning from vacation, Judge Grigoryan expressed surprise that such an incident has occurred in his office. He and his lawyer have been prohibited from entering his own office.

It is noteworthy that Davit Grigoryan is the judge in the case involving Armenia's second president Robert Kocharian and others.
