Fire Erupts Near Tsitsernakaberd Memorial

The fire that broke out near the Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex has been contained, and firefighting efforts are ongoing. This was reported to NEWS.am by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Earlier, we announced that the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call at 20:24 on July 14, stating that a fire had erupted in the area surrounding the Tsitsernakaberd memorial in Yerevan, with grass-covered areas ablaze.

Nine firefighting teams, comprising 59 rescuers, are involved in the firefighting efforts, along with a special rescue task force and four water tanks from the city municipality.
