Branch of 500-Year-Old Tree Falls on Tourists in Azerbaijan, Injuries Reported

A branch from a 500-year-old plane tree has fallen on tourists in Azerbaijan. The incident occurred in the city of Sheki. The branch hit 19 people, of whom two required hospitalization. Specialists have been called in from the capital. This information was reported by "Interfax."

The branch fell near the Sheki Khans' Palace in the northwestern part of the country. Its diameter measures 0.5 meters. It is noted that the injured tourists are from Russia.
