A Girl Representing a Russian Citizen in Yerevan Drove Under the Influence, Refused to Hand Over Keys to Police
In Yerevan, on July 14, during a routine intensified operation, the traffic police apprehended the driver of a Toyota B 220 TE 95 RUS vehicle, who turned out to be a young girl. According to Shamshyan.com, it was revealed that the vehicle did not have mandatory vehicle insurance (MVIS), and the driver was subjected to a sobriety test, which confirmed that she was driving under the influence.
When the traffic police attempted to tow the vehicle to a special designated area for vehicles, the driver refused to hand over the car keys to the police. The driver repeatedly insisted that she was a citizen of the Russian Federation.
