On July 8, SHAMSHYAN.com published a photo report and video regarding a shooting incident that occurred during a brawl in the Aragatsotn region. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, during the preparations for the materials, it was discovered that a dispute had taken place near the Ashtarak bus station between residents of Yerevan: 52-year-old Davit Safaryan, 39-year-old Vahe Safaryan, and two other individuals. During the altercation, Davit Safaryan fired a gas pistol at the disputants, who fled the scene. At that moment, officers Armen Zakaryan and Norair Tadevosyan from the Traffic Police's 2nd Squadron managed to disarm Safaryan and apprehended him along with Vahe Safaryan.

During the course of the investigation, it was revealed that the fleeing individuals were Russian citizens, 39-year-old Sevak Manukyan and 35-year-old Zorik Manukyan from Yerevan. While the investigator was examining the scene, employees of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Aragatsotn Police managed to locate Zorik Manukyan near one of the buildings on Georgian Street in Yerevan, where he was taken to the Ashtarak police station. Subsequently, through operational-search measures and explanatory work carried out by police officers, Sevak Manukyan arrived at the Ashtarak Police Station. After providing explanations regarding the incident, they were released.

According to the photojournalist, it was also established that the Infiniti vehicle, from which traces of blood were found, belongs to Vahe Safaryan, while the gas pistol was registered to Davit Safaryan, who, as reported by G. Shamshyan, works as the head of the security division at 'Parvana' Security.
