Fight in Ashtarak Ends with Gunshots

Today, on July 8, a dispute turned violent and ended with gunshots in the Aragatsotn region. Around 12:30 PM, officers Armen Zakaryan and Norair Tadevosyan from the 2nd company of the 2nd battalion of the Road Police intervened in a fight on Yerevan Street in Ashtarak city.

According to shamshyan.com, the road police noticed several individuals arguing and exchanging blows near a bus station while performing their duties in that area.

Currently, detectives from the Ashtarak Police Department are working at the scene to ascertain the identities of the individuals involved in the fight, the shooter, the injured parties, and those who fled the scene. A doctor who spoke with a photojournalist indicated that one person may be transferred to the hospital for examination.

Materials are being prepared at the investigative division of the Ashtarak Police Department regarding the incident.
