Public Transportation Should Never Operate on Natural or Liquid Gas, Says Arthur Ghazinyan

Armenia has yet to develop and approve a transport safety concept. This was noted by Arthur Ghazinyan, the president of the 'One Armenia' party, in a post on his Facebook page.

“It is horrifying . . . Armenia still lacks a developed and approved transport safety concept. Public passenger transport should never operate on natural or liquid gas. Even a schoolchild knows that natural gas and gasoline are flammable and can explode instantly, unlike diesel fuel. In all normal countries around the world, public transport operates on either diesel fuel or electricity. We must begin developing a transport safety concept and implementing minimum safety conditions in Armenia immediately.
