One Woman and Two Children Among Armenian Citizens Who Died in Georgia Car Accident
The Armenian Embassy in Georgia has issued a statement regarding the Armenian citizens involved in a car accident in Georgia.
"Today, at around 6:00 AM, a traffic accident occurred on the 100th km of the Gori-Kareli highway, resulting in the deaths of three citizens of the Republic of Armenia: R. H., E. M., and A. M. Five others, L. M., M. M., M. M., A. M., and R. M., suffered varying degrees of injuries and have been transported to medical centers in Gori and Tbilisi. The embassy is maintaining constant contact with the doctors, and further statements regarding the health of the injured will be issued," the statement said.
Earlier, Shamshyan.com reported that among the deceased in the accident were two children and one woman.
The Armenian Minister of Health also announced on his Facebook page that he has instructed Deputy Minister Hovhannes Harutyunyan to travel to Georgia to assess the health condition of those injured in the tragic accident, to organize their medical assistance, and to arrange their evacuation to Yerevan if necessary.
