Restrictions in the Additional Session of Unified Examinations

The newspaper "Hayastani Hanrapetutyun" reports: "The additional session of the unified examinations has begun. For 858 applicants, the examinations are still an ongoing process. Today, the applicants will take an exam in the subject of Armenian Language and Literature. Not everyone will participate in the second phase of the unified exams.

Recently, during a meeting of the Republican Appeals Commission, it was decided that applicants who are found with phones or electronic devices during the exam will not be allowed to participate in the additional admission phase. "There are approximately 15 such applicants. In addition to them, those applicants who wrote their written work and then approached us saying they were sick during the exam and could not write correctly will also not be allowed to participate in the additional exam," said Karo Nasibyan, Deputy Director of the ANQA. Due to these phenomena, the organizers aim to conduct next year's examinations with certain changes. K. Nasibyan noted that they plan to more strictly monitor students' entry into the examination rooms, so they cannot use hidden phones and other devices."
