New Driver's License Regulations Require More than Just Exams
«Ժամանակ» newspaper reports: The Government of Armenia has introduced a new draft regulation regarding the procedure for obtaining a driver's license, which states that it is no longer sufficient for citizens to pass the theoretical and practical exams to acquire a driver's license.
According to the new regulation, citizens are required to present a document proving that they have successfully completed the final examinations of the driving courses conducted by a training organization (including military training institutions).
Thus, the government is making automobile schools accountable by turning their operations into a type of licensed activity. One can only imagine where all this is heading.
