Keeping Manvel Grigoryan in Prison is a Diagnosis of the Government's Malady: 'Hraparak'
'Hraparak' newspaper writes: 'That human conscience does not operate in political calculations is clear. That Manvel Grigoryan is a controversial figure is evident. On one hand, he is a military general and played a unique role in the Artsakh liberation war, while on the other, he embodies violence during peacetime.
However, keeping an extremely ill person in prison for a year and prolonging the trial based on political calculations is not only inhumane but also a diagnosis of the government’s malady. Look at the photo. Look at the young police officers. They too bear some guilt. A human differs from an animal by conscience and memory.'
