According to the "Irates" newspaper, "It is said that no matter how much the 28-year-old Minister of Justice, who did not serve in the army due to scoliosis, approaches the implementation of transitional justice with an enthusiastic demeanor and readiness, the process will be challenging.

The fact is that the draft law needs to pass international and Venice Commission expertise, where the opinions are not unequivocal. It is understood there that Armenian authorities want to take control of the judicial system on one hand, and redistribute property on the other.

“The international expertise will take six months, during which many will be either alive or dead, and there are also issues concerning compliance with the Armenian Constitution, which is also very time-consuming,” our source said.
