VIDEO: Ejmiatsni Resident Starts Sit-in Demanding Mayor's Resignation and Meeting

Ejmiatsni resident Armen Aleksanyan began a sit-in this morning at 9 AM, demanding the resignation of Mayor Diana Gasparyan and requesting a meeting with her. In an interview with Tert.am, he mentioned that he has numerous questions for Diana Gasparyan.

Regarding the issues at hand, Armen Aleksanyan stated that he would not disclose details to the media, as he intends to address his questions directly to the mayor.

“We made a revolution for the betterment of our city, yet it is regressing. We were supposed to meet at 5:30 PM, but she suggested a meeting at the city hall. Since I was not alone, I insisted on meeting here to have her answer the questions from her voters. Diana Gasparyan did not arrive at 6:30 PM,” he said.
