Sasun Mikayelyan's Relative Appointed Acting Head of Education, Culture and Sports Department in Hrazdan Municipality

The positions of heads in the internal audit, transportation, trade and services regulation, education, culture and sports, territorial development, land cadastre, and agriculture departments of the Hrazdan municipality have been vacant, reports Hraparak.am.

Recently, Gurchen Hakobyan, who is 26 years old, was appointed as the acting head of the territorial development, land cadastre, and agriculture department. Anahit Nazaryan, an advisor to the Hrazdan mayor, was in charge of the education, culture, and sports department but has submitted her resignation and left her position.

According to the media, the acting head of the education, culture, and sports department has been appointed as Zarik Vardanyan, who is the relative of Sasun Mikayelyan. Incidentally, months ago, there were discussions that Zarik Vardanyan would take up the position of head of the internal audit department. Since he did not have the relevant certification, it was decided to place their relative in the education department instead.

Robert Danielyan, the secretary of the municipality's staff, confirmed that Sasun Mikayelyan's relative, Zarik Vardanyan, has applied for the job and will start working tomorrow. The Mikayelyans are still searching for candidates to fill the other two vacant positions in the municipality.

It should be noted that no competitions have been held for the temporary acting heads of the departments, and none will be held in the near future. According to a source close to the municipality, if they do hold a competition, it would be a disgrace, as the department heads would not even be able to pass the first round.
