Nikol Pashinyan's Message to Justin Trudeau

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan congratulated Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on the occasion of Canada Day. According to the government press service, Pashinyan's message stated in particular:

“On behalf of the people of Armenia and personally from me, I extend warm congratulations and best wishes to you on the occasion of Canada Day. Your official visit to Armenia last year elevated the relations between our countries and peoples to a new level, based on mutual trust and goodwill. I fondly remember our meetings in Yerevan, which revealed the potential for developing bilateral cooperation into tangible results.

Taking this opportunity, I would also like to express gratitude for the significant role the Armenian community in Canada plays in our relations. Its impressive rise and achievements testify that Canada traditionally supports and advances the ideas and principles of humanity, equality, and democracy.
