Hovhannes Bachkov Wins Title at European Games Boxing Tournament

World Championship bronze medalist and current European champion Hovhannes Bachkov has claimed the title at the boxing tournament of the European Games, which is nearing its conclusion in Minsk.

In the final match for the 64 kg weight category, Bachkov faced Sofia Umihann from France, who had previously won against Luke McCormack from Great Britain with a score of 5:0 in the semifinals. In the final, the captain of the Armenian national team secured victory with a score of 3:2.
