3.5 kg of Concealed Medication Found in Bus from Turkey to Armenia: Customs Committee
At the Bagratashen customs checkpoint, employees of the State Revenue Committee's internal security and anti-smuggling departments, along with customs officials, recently discovered medication concealed from customs control in a bus transporting passengers from Turkey.
The State Revenue Committee reports that 3.5 kg of medication, packaged in black polyethylene bags, was found among the luggage declared by passenger G.A., an Armenian citizen. According to G.A., he was unaware of the presence of the medication. It had been transferred to him as accompanied luggage by another passenger, V., under the instruction of Sh.A., the founder and director of the company conducting the passenger transport.
The discovered medication has been confiscated, and a record of the violation of customs regulations has been prepared. The materials have been sent to the relevant department of the State Revenue Committee for further proceedings.
