The Situation in Armenia Has Not Changed

The newspaper "Hraparak" reports: "The mayors of Yerevan are second in the list of unchanging phenomena. You see, regarding the same issue, we have written letters with the same content to the last two mayors of Yerevan. From both, we received a direct one-and-a-half-page response, exactly the same answer, without even a single punctuation mark differing.

In response to our request to allow us to fence off the area between the garages built in the yard from both sides and park the car there, both Taron Margaryan and Hayk Marutyan have replied that they will construct an underground parking lot in our yard by 2020. It is not the identical nature of their responses that surprises me, but the fact that both are blatantly lying without any shame.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has become an irreplaceable artifact, an immutable reality. It is known that for the vulnerable who need assistance in Armenia, it is not a priest but a "Pharos" inspector who is called. This tradition has been preserved and even tightened during Pashinyan's time.

One beneficiary citizen approached us, whose house had collapsed. The Ministry of Emergency Situations prohibited the citizen from entering the fallen house for fear that the ceiling might collapse. However, the social services perceived the situation completely differently and quickly sent an ambulance that cut off the citizen's "Pharos" support.

Many "vulnerable" citizens of Armenia, however, who consume large amounts of electricity, gas, and water, and even import cars into Armenia and conduct transactions with bankers, continue to receive "Pharos" support without any issues. This is what Pashinyan said; after all, nothing changes.

Corruption: This is a very bad thing that remains unresolved in Armenia. In the past, everyone knew that everyone was corrupt. There was a kind of balanced situation. Today, the situation is not much different; only the balance has collapsed, and it turns out that only Pashinyan knows that everyone is corrupt. Previously, some major corrupt individuals would be caught by their corrupt law enforcement counterparts, but now it is Pashinyan who unilaterally decides whom to catch.

As a continuation of this theme, it should be noted that in the past, almost all deputies were considered oligarchs, while today, it is only those whom Pashinyan points at that are labeled as such." More details in today’s edition of the newspaper.
