Arsenal Looks to Sell Mkhitaryan to Acquire Zaha
London's Arsenal is looking to sell Armenian national team midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan this summer in order to acquire Wilfried Zaha, the Ivory Coast midfielder from Crystal Palace, reports thetimes.co.uk.
The 26-year-old Zaha is expected to cost Crystal Palace £80 million. His salary is £130,000 per week, and his contract is set to last until 2023. Zaha has previously stated that he is a fan of Arsenal.
British media also report that there has yet to be an attractive offer for 30-year-old Mkhitaryan's transfer. Earlier, Mkhitaryan's agent Mino Raiola noted that Borussia Dortmund is interested in the possibility of bringing the Armenian midfielder back.
Mkhitaryan joined Arsenal in January 2018, with his current contract lasting until the summer of 2021. Before that, he played for Manchester United from July 2016, where he made 39 appearances and scored five goals.
