Where is the 'Pretty Girl'? Following the Heated Discussions in the National Assembly
The daily newspaper 'Zhoghovurd' reports that yesterday, for about 40 minutes, domestic lawmakers set aside agenda items and projects to discuss an expression used by MP Edmon Marukyan from the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction, referring to the head of Civil Aviation, Tatevik Revazyan, as the 'pretty girl.'
A heated debate began in the parliament after Aren Mkrtchyan, a member of the 'My Step' faction, decided to defend Tatevik Revazyan's honor. Following Mkrtchyan's speech and his appeal to Marukyan, a series of similar speeches ensued, seeming to distract the parliament members from the actual purpose of their gathering.
Interestingly, while everyone in parliament chose to discuss Tatevik Revazyan, 'Zhoghovurd' discovered that she is not in the country; the head of Civil Aviation is on vacation until July 1.
