I Think the Crocodile Farm has Run Its Course
Today, in a conversation with reporters, Ararat Governor Garik Sargsyan spoke about his relationships with the Mayor of Masis. He emphasized that their relationship is of a working nature.
“With everyone, we manage to have working relationships when they are willing to work,” he said.
When asked if the rumors regarding his resignation were true, Garik Sargsyan replied, “Only the Prime Minister can answer that question.”
To the observation of why he hasn't run for a position in the board of the 'Civil Contract' party, Garik Sargsyan stated that he had declared back in 2016 that he would not run again. “That was my decision, made back in 2016. Party ranks need to advance and retreat; people should have the opportunity to run, and since the number of positions is limited, we must give our other party members a chance,” he said.
According to Garik Sargsyan, approximately 960 million drams have been allocated for the opening of the Family Sports Complex in Masis. “Since the benefactor is from Masis, they have the opportunity and are trying to do something good for their community, which is commendable, and we are interested parties,” he noted.
Addressing the issue of the crocodile farm, Garik Sargsyan mentioned that he thinks this topic has already run its course. “The investment will be made by 'Armon' LLC, and I believe this topic has exhausted itself,” he said.
