Three Airlines Ready to Participate in Crisis Resolution Between Two Nations, Advisor to Pashinyan
Three airlines are willing to participate in the resolution of the crisis that has arisen between the brotherly nations. This was stated by the Prime Minister's advisor on aviation issues, Hakob Jagharyan, on his social media page, addressing the mutual restrictions on air transportation stemming from the issues in Russian-Georgian relations.
He specifically wrote, “On Saturday morning, immediately after the announcement of President V. Putin's decree on the suspension of flights to Georgia starting from July 8, I approached all Armenian airlines to clarify their readiness and capabilities to collectively participate in passenger transportation in the direction of Russia-Georgia and vice versa due to the tensions between Russia and Georgia. I am pleased to note that three airlines—‘Armenia,’ ‘Taron Avia,’ and ‘Atlantis European’—are ready to participate in the resolution of the crisis between the brotherly nations, with five aircraft confirmed, which may increase by two more. The results have been reported to the Prime Minister.”
