Council Meeting of the Eurasian Economic Commission Held in Minsk Under Vice Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan
The Council meeting of the Eurasian Economic Commission was held in Minsk, Belarus, under the chairmanship of Vice Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, who arrived on a working visit. This was reported by Mher Grigoryan's office.
The agenda included topics related to integration in the EAEU region, including the management of digital projects, development programs for the jewelry industry in the EAEU, and labeling issues for certain products.
The participants were also presented with the project titled “Digital Service: Reliable Counteragent of the EAEU.” Among other issues, discussions included negotiations regarding the free trade zone agreement between EAEU member states and the Republic of Serbia, as well as the progress of work on the agreement concerning the regulation of the alcoholic market in the EAEU region.
The development process of an agreement enabling citizens of EAEU member states to work freely as drivers was also on the agenda.
Additionally, the participants of the EAEU Council discussed draft agreements on the harmonization of excise duties on tobacco and alcoholic products among EAEU member states, as well as various technical regulatory issues.
